ANNOUNCER: Welcome to the VTalk Radio's Photographer Spotlight with your host, John Bentley, sponsored by morephotos.com the online photo sales solution to professional photographers worldwide.

JOHN: Today we are in the Studio with Wallice Jenkins of Unlimited Photography of Chattanooga, TN. Welcome to the program, Wallace.

WALLACE: Hey, how you'all doing?

JOHN: Very good. Thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us a little bit about your business?

WALLACE: Well, we are a photography business that loves event photography. When I say that I'm going to the hotels, weddings, and everything like that. We have an onsite printing unit that can supply pictures right on the spot. So we can do a whole bunch of things right there by bringing the computers out, the printers out, and our techs, me and my wife, and two other techs who are very highly skilled so they can really handle just about any problem that we have out there.

JOHN: Can you tell me some of the events that you cover?

WALLACE: We set up the all site printing unit at a wedding also schools. We can do the schools' proms at the Marriott Hotel down town, the Chattanooga, we just go in and we just take pictures and print them out right then.

JOHN: I noticed on your website that you have some sports photography. So you doing a lot of outside photography. Tell us a little bit about that.

WALLACE: We can do sporting events like baseball games and football games and things like that. We love the little leagues. The little league sporting events, that's great. We set up the printer unit there, and then we can print out right there on the spot and people just love it.

JOHN: I see you have a section on your website for children. Tell me about shooting children and what do you do to make children at ease and comfortable?

WALLACE: With children it's very easy to shoot. Most of the time, just let them be natural and as far as the children are concerned, they're just lovely just the way they are so we just let them flow. If they're running and playing, just let them go and play and just a lot of candid shots and everything about kids and everything. It makes it really easy to shoot kids, because they're so natural.

JOHN: Can you tell me the service area that you cover? What are some of the surrounding towns in Chattanooga that you shoot at?

WALLACE: Well, we shoot in Dunlap. We shoot in Marion County. We shoot within a 50 - 100 mile radius. Sometimes we go to Atlanta and shoot, but that's not a surrounding town, but a Atlanta is very big and we can go down there and shoot down there in Atlanta. It's great down there.

JOHN: Are there any other towns in the area that you like to shoot at or places you like to shoot at?

WALLACE: Blue Ridge has a lot of places I can go; the River Park, that's a great place; East Gate Mall, they've got a nice waterfall in there, and we love to shoot there. That would be inside, but outside events or if somebody hires us to go outside, we'll try to go down to the River Park or Lost Landing and shoot down there.

JOHN: Can you give us your website and contact information, Wallace?

WALLACE: Our website is www.unlimitedphotographytn.com and our telephone number is (423) 892-3016.

VTALK RADIO: VTalk Radio.

ANNOUNCER: We now return you to VTalk Radio's Photographer Spotlight with your host, John Bentley.

JOHN: Welcome back to VTalk Radio's Photographer Spotlight. We are in the studio today with Wallice Jenkins of Unlimited Photography of Chattanooga, TN. Welcome back to the program, Wallace.

WALLACE: Thank you.

JOHN: Can you tell me...you described a number of the photo sessions that you do. Tell me about schools, proms, senior portraits, stuff like that?

WALLACE: Right now we have the All to See of La Vergne high school. We have done them for two years in a row. Whether they're having their prom or what not, but they're having there event down there at, I think it's at UTC. We'll go down there and set up and just shoot them. Down there it's been really great for us, and I'm thinking they really, really love it too, because they want us back every year.

JOHN: What's your most important goal when you sit down to do a session with somebody?

WALLACE: Well the most important goal is the satisfy the customer. We have spent a lot of time and effort to give a great service instead of just having a person there sitting around just taking plain pictures and saying ok that's just the way it was printed that it. We have spent a lot of time putting the software together as far as we use Adobe right on the spot. Just say a person was to spill something on their shirt; it's no problem. We can take it right off and they can go home with the pictures. It's really good. It's not that we come out there with just a little printer and a computer. It's not that. We have everything there. Even if a person was to bring a picture that's not too terribly messed up, but we can actually restore that picture right on the spot so it's a lot of options you get with us. It's not like you're just stuck with that situation, we lighten and darken. We can do special effects on the spot. My wife, Sharon, she wanted to name the company Unlimited Photography because it's just unlimited of the things that we can do.

JOHN: Now, you do set up at proms, right? I would think that would be a great opportunity to get business. Tell me about some of the proms that you've done. What do you when you're at a prom?

WALLACE: We bring the background light, three laptops, one computer, three takes. It's a massive...we've got hundreds of parts to put together at that prom, and then we just set up there and they get really, really nice pictures. It's a big undertaking, but we just want to satisfy the customers and make this service a great, great, great service as it is.

JOHN: Wallace can you tell me how long you've been in business?

WALLACE: I've been in business for...digital...twelve years, but digital has brought everything out for me. Film just didn't do it, but digital we really have really, really brought it out. I've got 17 years of experience as far as taking pictures altogether, but it's just been great with digital.

JOHN: Can you tell me Wallace, why did you decide to become a photographer?

WALLACE: I loved it from the first time I picked up that camera, the art of it, just the sheer pleasure of just taking someone's picture and then...what I get a big joy out of is giving that person that picture, and they just love my sight of taking a picture of them. I started at the Boys Club in Chattanooga, TN, taking photography under Bill Lamarr and I loved it ever since. It's been really great for me.

JOHN: Can you tell me what makes your services unique? What sets you apart from other photographers?

WALLACE: Well we take time. We take time. We are very personable. We try to make a customer feel very wanted and very needed and instead of just rushing you through a process where, ok, I'm going to take your wedding, and I'm going to do this, I'm going to do that. Me and my wife, we'll sit down with a customer and just try to make sure that we're going to take their pictures and we're going to be the best we possibly can at our jobs. We don't like to sit around and rush a person through and it's just a personal thing with us.

JOHN: Before we let you go today, Wallace, can you give us your website and contact information again.

WALLACE: The website is www.unlimitedphotographytn.com and the number is (423) 892-3016.

JOHN: We have been in the studio with Wallice Jenkins of Unlimited Photography of Chattanooga, TN. Thanks for joining us today, Wallace.
